Chazis an award winning interaction designer at IDEO. Throughout his 12 year career, he has worked with established corporations and ambitious startups in the US, Japan, Taiwan and China, including Nike, Pixar, Slingbox, Huawei, Fotile and Koudai. His passion subjects range from the internet of things; e- commerce; cross-platform design; service design, venture design, and how to develop new digital talents.
Davrecently joined IDEO after 20 years making films. His favorite projects are those that combine interaction and storytelling to imagine the future including: Avatar, Iron Man and Transformers. Since joining, Dav has designed a prosthetic limb, a game to help children learn programming skills, a new food product, and more.
Juning is a communication designer at IDEO Shanghai. She helps clients understand and apply human-centered design philosophy and innovation process, and visualize ideas through graphic design, photography, illustrations and storytelling. Juning has more than 10 years of experience, working across Taipei, New York, and Shanghai.
Paul is IDEO’s Chief Creative Officer. As a partner and one of five senior executives, Paul works with clients, partners, and colleagues to bring to market human-centric, commercially successful, and socially significant new businesses, products, services, and experiences. Paul provides creative leadership and cross-pollination of insights and ideas to clients and colleagues on an extended scale by traveling, learning, and working across the globe.
Ji is a designer with a mechanical engineering background. He brings to IDEO a unique combination of experience in factory automation, product design and high speed machinery. His patent portfolio includes nursery products, industrial machineries, air compressors, diesel engine components and 3D printers.
Leifis an IDEO partner and an executive design director at IDEO, Munich. Passionate about making things real and with a love of design, he has brought many products, services, experiences and brands successfully to market. A product designer by training, Leif hand-makes guitars in his spare time.
Mike Peng is co-founder and co-Managing Director of IDEO, Japan. Mike is passionate about IDEO being a creative catalyst for change. He believes that unlocking people’s innate creative ability is the key to helping businesses become more innovative. Some of his clients have included: Panasonic, Marriott, Citibank, Shiseido, Toyota and New York University. A keen educator, Mike has taught design research and design thinking programs at Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design (CIID), NYU Wagner, Tokyo University, Keio University, and Kyushu University.
Nancy Xuis Design Researcher at IDEO Shanghai. She builds and applies a human-centered innovation approach to bring benefits to both business and consumers. Born and raised in Taiyuan, Shanxi province and educated in the US, Nancy is particularly interested in how design thinking can help address systemic challenges in China.
Matilda Ho is a serial entrepreneur and investor and former Design Lead at IDEO, Shanghai. She is dedicated to creating a more transparent and sustainable food ecosystem. Matilda founded and is the Managing Director of Bits x Bites, China’s first food-centric accelerator and venture capital fund that invests in startups tackling global food system challenges. She is also founder of Yimishiji, one of China’s first online farmers markets to bring organic and local produce to families. At IDEO, she used design thinking and business design to help clients create growth and deliver tangible and meaningful impact.

PT Black is Senior Director of Brand Experience and Planning at Nike, China and former Consumer Advocate-in-Residence at IDEO. A consumer and brand marketing leader, he is considered an authority on lifestyle and cultural changes taking place in China. At IDEO, his role was to bring his extensive skills, experience and knowledge in gaining consumer insight to bear on client projects and on how IDEO originates fresh thinking, carries out design research and experiments with new ideas. PT graduated from Yale University with a degree in East Asian Studies. He started studying Mandarin in 1991 and now reads, writes and speaks the language fluently.

Greg Perez is a Design Director at IDEO, Tokyo. He is a strategic storyteller whose craft spans brand strategy, digital experience and communications design. His work at IDEO has ranged from accelerating startups in Tokyo, repositioning and rebranding multinational apparel brands for the China and India markets, building internal innovation capabilities for Australian corporations, to rethinking governmental service design in Singapore. Gary Lee is a designer at IDEO, Shanghai. He is inspired by multiple domains of knowledge, different perspectives, and he thrives on creating new value for clients in multi-disciplinary teams. He is trained as an industrial designer and electrical engineer, and his approach to problem solving is influenced by his passion for how design and technology impact on and can be integrated into society. He has collaborated with IDSA (Industrial Designers Society of America) to inform their strategy, service and user experience for the Asia market, this work was recently been published in the book IDSA Blueprint in Asia. At IDEO, Gary has been focusing on organization design that creates systemic impact. In his spare time, Gary teaches product design at Fudan University and Detao Masters Academy.

Florent Bonnefoy is a consultant with extensive experience in international business development in the food and travel industries. He was most recently Director of the MICHELIN Maps and Guides for Greater China. Currently he is working with clients across China mainland, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore and South Korea on new food-related venture development, brand growth and experience design. Born in Lyon in France, the cradle of French cuisine, to a family of gastronomes, Florent's inquisitive palate led him to China where he developed a discerning taste for Chinese teas and cuisines, and a love for the Chinese culture. Besides having travelled extensively in China, he also travelled to many places in Asia, the U.S, Middle East, Europe and Africa.

Federico Duarte is Culinary Expert-in-Residence at IDEO, Shanghai. He is an advocate for the development of IDEO's food portfolio and works on food-related initiatives and projects. Trained in classic French cuisine, Federico has filled many roles throughout his career around food including, as a chef, founder, teacher, business designer, general manager, and consultant. In 2010, Federico led a team to set up the Shanghai campus for the world renowned cooking academy Institute Paul Bocuse. Before taking residence with IDEO, he was running his own business, Mill Food Intelligence, a food consulting and business design studio.

Brian is Senior Design Research Lead at IDEO, China. Based in Shanghai, he is passionate about unearthing truths about human thinking and behavior, and turning insights into opportunities.
An experimenter at heart and in practice, Brian champions human-centric thinking and loves tackling meaty innovation challenges using multi-disciplinary methods such as decision psychology, trends forecasting and scenario planning. He firmly believes having new and human-grounded perspectives is fuel to making breakthroughs.
Prior to moving to China in 2013, Brian spent two decades in the U.K. and U.S.A., honing his craft in the academia and agencies. His work at C Space, a customer-cantered marketing consultancy and The Futures Company, a strategic insights and innovation company brought together disparate approaches, from experimental psychology, foresights, to co-creation to help clients define and master their own future. Projects he has worked on included helping Audi envision its role in China 10 years down the road, and embedding consumer thinking into business-critical innovation initiatives for L'Oréal.
Brian holds two master degrees from The London School of Economics and The Fletcher School at Tufts. His bachelor's degree is from Washington University in St. Louis.

Bo is a Portfolio Director and part of the leadership team at IDEO's Chicago studio, where she helps clients identify and frame the right opportunities to create intelligent products, services, and systems.
Previously, she was a partner at Datascope, a leading data science consultancy in Chicago, which was acquired by IDEO in 2017. At Datascope, she combined human-centered design with analytics to derive actionable business insights for clients like P&G, Motorola, and Oracle. Through Datascope's partnership with test prep giant, Kaplan, she helped design, launch, and teach their first ever, 12-week Metis Data Science Bootcamp, an immersive program to help people transition into a career in data science.
Bo is an active member of the local technology community, frequently speaking about applying the iterative design process to data science projects, and is the head organizer of the Data Science Chicago and the Chicago Women in Machine Learning and Data Science meetups. She has a BS in Mathematics and an MS in Statistics, both from The University of Chicago.
